Oklahoma is currently home to two cat cafes. The Sooner State gained its first cat cafe in 2023 with the opening of don’t stress meowt – Cat Cafe in the state capital of Oklahoma City. Two years later and one hundred miles away, don’t stress meowt has opened a second location in Tulsa.

Oklahomans quickly embraced the cat cafe craze and the good folks at don’t stress meowt – Cat Cafe have expanded their winning concept to a second location with the opening of their Tulsa cafe in January 2025.

Oklahoma Cat Cafes Set to Triple

Oklahoma will soon have three cat cafes. Pretty amazing for a state with a population of just four million people. The Chat- A Cat Cafe is planning to open in Tulsa’s largest suburb of Broken Arrow. The Chat is set to open in early 2025.
