Louisiana is Home to One Cat Cafe!
Louisiana has one cat cafe, located in St. Tammany Parish. Louisiana’s only cat cafe is The Calico Cat Cafe, set in the small town of Folsom, about an hour north of New Orleans. The Calico Cat is the place to meet adoptable pets from Big Sky CARE and the wonderful Big Sky Ranch sanctuary. Enjoy a cup of organic coffee and fresh baked muffin, shop the retail store, or just relax and enjoy time with adoptable kittens and cats!
Is There a New Orleans Cat Cafe?
There is currently no cat cafe in New Orleans. For a few glorious years, there WAS a cat cafe in New Orleans, complete with a guest cottage and cat mobile. Sadly our very favorite New Orleans cat cafe didn’t survive the pandemic, and no new cafe has taken its place. The great news is that the border states of Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas are home to a number of outstanding cat cafes.
