New Dallas cat cafe Whiskers and Soda Cat Cafe and Lounge is now open in East Dallas. Open six days a week, Whiskers and Soda serves up adoptable cats and a full menu of food and beverages. Or, as they so eloquently put it: “where cats and coffee collide!”

The relaxed setting of the cafe allows visitors to leisurely interact with the cats and, perhaps, fall in love. They have every sort of fine cat and even have a Kitten Tree Room with -that’s right- kittens! All Whiskers and Soda cats are available for adoption and are spayed/neutered, medically vetted. Owners Rob and Caroline Stovall are life-long cat lovers who have been active for years in the Dallas rescue community.
When You Go
- Reservations are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
- As with other cat cafes, there is an hourly fee to visit with the cats. Proceeds support cat care and the rescue efforts of the non-profit, A Voice for All Paws.
- Locals will definitely want to sign on for a Whiskers and Soda membership, which brings purrks such as advanced booking, merchandise discounts, and monthly coupons.
- Students and the work from home folks will appreciate the great work/meeting spaces and free-wifi
Luxury Boarding Facility in East Dallas
Adjacent to Whiskers and Soda is the new luxury cat boarding facility, Griffin Rock Cat Retreat. This makes Whiskers and Soda only the second cat cafe in the country to also run a separate cat boarding facility. Brilliant, right? Wouldn’t you want to entrust your kitty to experts? For those on the other side of town, The Casual Cat Cafe in Richland Hills debuted and perfected this genius concept.
