Happy Mew Year! We can’t think of a better way to wrap up this crazy ole year and welcome in the new than a cat cafe visit. Whether you have the family in town for a holiday visit or you’re flying solo, ring in the new year with cats at your nearest cat cafe.

We can’t promise you catnip disco balls and party animals, but we’re 100% sure a New Years cat cafe visit will usher in a happy 2025. Because the 2024 New Years Eve holiday falls in the middle of the work week, more cat cafes are open both on the last day of the year and the inaugural day of the new.  

A number of cafes are open on New Year’s Eve and some are also open on New Year’s Day. As always, we highly recommend always checking a cafe’s website or social media. Reservations are recommended, but walk ins if available. Not only is it a super fun pawliday outing to spend the New Years with cats, but it is important to support the small businesses that bring us such joy. Bajah’s  Cat Cafe, Tiverton: Open NYE, and New Year’s Day until 8 pm Bajah’s kitty cats will also be sharing their new year’s resolutions on Facebook all day on NYE!

Home for New Years with the Cats

Of course the time tested tradition of ringing in the mew year with the home kitties is our favorite way to celebrate. Whether you’re cozied up with a kitty and book or hosting a soiree, the kitties will be happy to share the festivities. Happy New Year, kitty cats!
