Fat Cat Cafe, Tallahassee
Cats are the star at Fat Cat Cafe! The Fat Cat Cafe serves up the companionship of eight to twelve adoptable cats in this groovy, sleek cafe. There is limited menu with an offering of pod coffees from “Crazy Cups” and “Bean Town,” as well as a variety bottled drinks and packaged treats. Beyond cats and caffeine, it is the people that makes this Tallahassee cat cafe a destination for locals and travelers alike:

Unique to Fat Cat Cafe are their special opportunities for youngsters to interact with their cats. Fat Cat offers dedicated hours for children under 12, as well as activities including Coloring with Kitties and Rock Painting with Kitties. One parent reports, “Staff treated my ten year old son very kindly.” Another comments, “My son and I had so much fun playing with the kitties! Everyone there was wonderful. We cannot wait to go back!”
The cafe is also available for birthday parties and other special events.
The Fat Cat Cafe opened in 2017 as Tallahassee’s first cat cafe! Like other cat cafes across the country, Fat Cat hasn’t had time for even a short cat nap since. In the six years since opening, Fat Cat has found permanent homes for nearly 1,400 cats! Fat Cat Cafe also has the distinction of being Tallahassee’s only non-profit cat cafe, which means all resources are directed to the mission of finding homes for rescue kitties.

It is under five miles away from The Fat Cat Cafe and we highly recommend visiting both.
