Summerville Cat Cafe Closes
Mews + Brews Cat Cafe in Summerville is closed permanently. After eleven months and one hundred and fifty cats adopted to furrever homes, Mews & Brews closed its doors. In a statement posted to social media, the cat cafe pointed to rising costs and the challenging economic environment for small businesses. The closure leaves South Carolina with two cat cafes and another scheduled to open in 2024.
The Summerville cat cafe opened January 2023 and closed in November.
